An annual one-day event that serves older adults and other individuals who need assistance with spring yard work. Volunteers work in teams to rake lawns, clean up gardens and wash windows. Each year the Neighbors Day Committee has coordinated approximately 200 community volunteers to make this day a reality. Volunteer teams include families, businesses, service organizations and church and school groups. Through their tremendous support, they served an average of 80 households in La Crescent each years since the event started in April of 2006.
